Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use betterbuilttrades.com or purchase services from Better Built Trades ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or our services, you agree to them.

Our services

We provide websites, lead capture and follow-up systems, CRM setup, Google Business Profile management, review automation, and an automated answering service for home-service businesses. The exact scope of what you receive is set out in the plan you select and anything we agree in writing.

Quotes, estimates, and calculators

The figures shown on our website, in our calculators, and in any quote or breakdown we generate are illustrative estimates, not promises of results. They are based on typical industry figures or on numbers you provide, and they assume conditions that may not match your business. Sample quotes shown for your trade are examples of document formatting and do not reflect pricing we recommend you charge. Nothing on the site is a binding offer until confirmed in writing.

Fees and billing

• Website build. A one-time build fee applies as quoted. Promotional waivers, where offered, apply only to the customers and period stated.
• Monthly plans. Plans are billed monthly in advance and continue until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars.
• Third-party costs. Some services depend on third-party accounts or usage-based charges such as telephony and messaging. We will tell you where these apply.

Cancellation

Monthly plans are month to month. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded unless we say otherwise in writing. On cancellation we will help you transfer your website content and domain.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information, and the access we need to accounts such as your domain, Google Business Profile, and phone service.
• Make sure content you supply is accurate, is yours to use, and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Hold and maintain any licenses, registrations, and insurance your trade requires, and make sure claims made on your website are truthful.
• Use any messaging and calling features in line with applicable law, including obtaining valid consent before contacting your own customers. You are responsible for your own communications with your customers.

Automated answering and call handling

Our answering service uses automated voice technology. Where required by law, it identifies itself as an automated assistant. You are responsible for reviewing and approving what it says on your behalf, for any call recording notices your jurisdiction requires, and for the accuracy of information it is configured to provide. We do not guarantee that every call will be answered, transcribed, or routed without error.

Ownership

You own your business content, your brand, and your domain. Once the build fee for your website is paid, you own the site content we build for you. We retain ownership of our own templates, tooling, processes, and anything we develop that is not specific to your business, along with our name and branding.

No guarantee of results

We work hard to improve how many leads you capture and convert, but outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your market, pricing, service quality, response times, and decisions made by search engines and advertising platforms. We do not guarantee specific rankings, lead volumes, revenue, or results unless we state a specific guarantee in writing, in which case that written guarantee and its stated conditions apply.

Third-party services

Our services rely on third parties including hosting, CRM, telephony, messaging, and advertising platforms. We are not responsible for their outages, changes, pricing, or policies, though we will make reasonable efforts to keep your service working.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost data.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you supply, your use of the services, your communications with your own customers, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
